Atheists maybe good scientists but pathetic historians. Usually, Atheists and their ideological neighbours like Freethinkers, humanists, skeptics etc. like to use science to disprove the existence of God and the historicity of Christ. They believe science has practically unseated God, and thus rendered Him redundant in contemporary enlightenment. Is this true? Honestly, this amuses me. This becomes more interesting when you see African Atheists marshal such arguments to bolster Atheistic reasoning. They would use all scientific fields to disprove God. Fields such as Biology (biological evolution), Geology and the Fossil Records, Cosmology and the Big Bang, Physics & Chemistry, Paleontology, Anthropology, Archaeology etc. But they are missing a point (are they?): None of them would know jack about contemporary alphabets or cognize their world through the scientific method but for the same God! The first schools in Black Africa were Missionary Schools. Those who brought the knowledge of the Bible God to us. They needed to teach us in their language in order to market their God, hence they taught us their science as well, so that we may comprehend His ways and wonders in Nature. That is the history behind every English alphabet you type as an Atheist to vilify the same God, behind every science you employ to blacken His existence out of history, behind every philosophy you embrace to understand the beauty of Logic and Reasoning. Thanks to Bible Missionaries! But for Missionaries, every Atheist and Freethinker on my friends list today would still be chanting incantations to their Ancestors and their Amadiohas, Sangos and pantheon of gods. My 21st Century Atheist friends would have inherited a legacy of household gods who knew nothing of physics and chemistry, who were scientifically dead and philosophically inert. A legacy of ignorance of how our world works. Christian Missionaries ensured this never happened to us. Indeed, God SAVED Africa! Today, descendants of the beneficiaries, those salvaged from this palpable darkness now style themselves Atheists, Freethinkers, Skeptics etc., calling the same Bible that brought them light all sorts of unprintable adjectives. The Book that literally liberated their savage minds from a cesspool of unproductive practices and gave them a scientific foundation. If Amadioha or Sango and the other Pantheons had taught their ancestors the scientific method and philosophy, maybe they would have had commensurate technological prowess to resist slavery. But no, Amadioha or Sango doesnt do that kind of science. Only the Bible God does, and those who had it ruled us. For centuries! Dear African Atheists/Freethinkers, before you teach me Science and how it disproves Gods existence, take time to learn the role the Bible and God played in your scholarship. Then, maybe Id give attentive ears, because I know your views then may be quite temperate. History precedes Science. #truthisscarierthanreality. Selah.
