Athens, GA: "Poor Sweet Pea, the pound is definitely not her favorite place, but she’s here again because her owner can’t care for her. She really appreciates being held, talked to and petted, and when we took her pictures she didn’t want to leave our arms. She’s a calm and sweet girl, and at 9 years old she’s mature but not elderly by any means. Sweet Pea is a bit on the chunky side at the moment, but a nice daily walk will help her shed those excess 2 or 3 pounds. Sweet Pea will make a devoted, loving companion.
