Atlanta can trace its soccer roots as far back as 1912 when amateur players gathered at Piedmont Park to play. Now, in 2014, Atlanta has its own American professional soccer club, the Atlanta Silverbacks, and soccer has become one of the top extracurricular activities among youth programs in the greater Metro Atlanta area. With that in mind, and the World Cup Finals coming up this weekend, the Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic team is sharing some helpful soccer injury prevention information.
