Attached are pictures of my mothers ancestral house in Taal. The one on the left which we restored was formerly linked to the house on the right built in 1870. Both houses used to belong to the Gahol family. We lost the one on the right in a family feud in 1930, and the connection between the two was sealed. My mother Paulina and her siblings were born there. The owner now (no blood relation) leased it to Lito Perez and he has made it into a bed and breakfast with a photo gallery that offers vintage costume. Its now known as Villa Tortuga. Sadly it really needs a major structural repair. The Gahol family spent 4M to restore the house on the left we proudly call Casa Gahol.
