Attempted to attend spin class tonight, but because there was only two of us in attendance, the svelte instructor urged us to join him in doing a 20 minute boot camp instead. I wasnt completely naive to the Boot Camp concept, as Ive witnessed the weeping and gnashing of teeth that escape from that workout room. I tried to drum up support from Erin Carr and Lauren Spragg who were working out at the same time. They hissed and bemoaned the thought and suggested itll kill me. They were close to accurate, as I was drenched in sweat by the 3rd minute. It was around the 7th minute mark that I violently cursed myself for agreeing to this workout. Those raged filled outbursts were directed at the instructor by the 12th minute. Nearing the 16th minute, I silently wished a medical emergency on the other woman, as the instructor would be forced to pause and Id have a much needed break. To no avail. Eventually the clock read 7:20pm and I collapsed in shear exhaustion. I suspect Ill have heinous thoughts of this instructor for the remainder of the week.
