Attended a beautiful event last night with a group of young people who have recently embraced Islam who are trying to learn. Then I went somewhere else where I witnessed Muslims imitating the ignorance that those who embrace Islam are trying to unlearn. SubhanAllah. He brings forth the living from the dead and brings forth the dead from the living, and revives the earth after it is dead. Likewise will you be raised to life (after you die). (Romans:19) Degrading ones self by joking about girlfriends, swearing and perpetuating stereotypes about your ethnic or religious group are not ways to produce American Muslim culture. Those have nothing to do with Islam or even good American values.
