Attended and sang at a funeral today for our dear Mormon Tabernacle Choir friend Brent Allen. The man always made you smile. I loved hearing more stories about him today from his siblings and friends. He will be missed. One of my favorite memories was traveling on Brent and Daves bus to Sun Valley...the Pink bus. We had all pink treats and there were many many puns and laughs. Thanks Brent and Dave for the fun memory. One of the songs we (about 100 members of the choir) sang was My Shepherd Will Supply My Need. I held it together until I had to sing the words O may Thy house be my abode, And all my work be praise!There would I find a settled rest, While others go and come; No more a stranger, nor a guest, But like a child at home. Im sure you were welcomed with open arms Brent, like a child at home.
