Attended the Curtis A. Cates tribute dinner earlier tonight at MSOP. Many of us were unable to attend the funeral. This was the next best thing and certainly helped with finding closure in so many ways. The stories and expressions of gratitude from his family and close colleagues were enriching. Someday I will have the privilege of telling my son that I got to study at the feet of brother Curtis A. Cates, who also happened to be a good friend to a great number of us. Thanks to all those involved with making this happen. We love the Cates family.
