Attended the closing ceremony of the Khel Mahakumbh at the Police Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Khel Mahakumbh is an inspiring initiative by our Hon. PM Shri Narendrabhai Modi and has been taking place annually since 2010. Thanks to the well-organised event, several sportsmen in the state are getting opportunities and recognition; this is also helping the sports sector in the state on the whole. At such a sporting event, whoever may have been victorious, anyone who has played with a sportsman spirit is a true champion. I heartily congratulate Sports authority of Gujarat, sports enthusiast citizens of Gujarat, participants, organisers, as well as teachers and parents who encourage students to participate in sports for the success of this 45 day long sports festival. આપણા મા. વડાપ્રધાન શ્રી નરેન્દ્રભાઈ મોદીના પ્રેરણાદાયી નેતૃત્વ તથા માર્ગદર્શન હેઠળ 2010 થી પ્રત્યેક વર્ષે આયોજીત થતા ખેલ મહાકુંભનું સમાપન આજે સાંજે અમદાવાદના પોલીસ સ્ટેડિયમ ખાતે કર્યું. રાજ્ય સરકારના સુસજ્જતા પૂર્વકના આ ખેલ મહાકુંભના આયોજનને પરિણામે ગુજરાતના અનેક રમતવીરોને રમતગમત ક્ષેત્રે નવી નવી તકો સાંપડી રહી છે અને ગુજરાત રમતગમત ક્ષેત્રે પણ અનેક નવી નવી સિદ્ધિઓ હાંસલ કરતું જાય છે. રમતગમતની આ સ્પર્ધાઓમાં જીત ગમે તેની થઈ હોય, સાચા અર્થમાં ખેલદિલીની ભાવના સાથે રમનાર તમામની જીત સુનિશ્ચિત હોય છે. કૌવત ધરાવતા સક્ષમ ખેલાડી બાળકોને મે વેકેશનમાં આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય કક્ષાના પ્રશિક્ષકો દ્વારા તાલીમ આપવાની તથા જરૂરી આધુનિક સાધનો ફાળવવાનું રાજ્ય સરકારે નક્કી કરેલ છે. આ ઉપરાંત, આવતા વર્ષથી ખેલકૂદની સાથોસાથ શાળાઓનાં બૅન્ડની હરીફાઈ પણ યોજવામાં આવશે. સ્પોર્ટ્સ ઓથોરિટી ઓફ ગુજરાત, ગુજરાતના ખેલપ્રિય નાગરિકો, ખેલાડીઓ, આયોજકો તથા બાળકોને ખેલકૂદ માટે પ્રોત્સાહન આપનાર શિક્ષકો અને વાલીઓ 45 દિવસથી ચાલતા આ અપ્રતિમ રમતોત્સવની અદભૂત સફળતા માટે અભિનંદનના અધિકારી છે.Sharing a few glimpses of the closing ceremony of Khel Mahakumbh...
