Attending the candidate forum relative to the Knox County Criminal Court Clerks position and was astounded that outside of the two atty candidates only 14-15 attys attended and even fewer members of the general public when this office requires an extraordinary amount of legal knowledge and affects our very day to day lives as Attys. To take a step back and not elect an educated member of the bar to this position is not only a step backward but reckless at the very least.
