Attention African American Citizens of Edgecombe County Thousands of illegal immigrants are crossing the southern border every day. They are being sent to every state and North Carolina will get their fair share of them and many of them will end up in Edgecombe County because we depend on the farming industry. If the Sheriff of Edgecombe County allows these illegals to remain in Edgecombe County they will take jobs away from our citizens. Some people have criticized my stance on illegal immigration. I intend on removing them from our county if I am elected Sheriff. I will fight to keep them out of Edgecombe County if the Federal government attempts to send any of them to us. Our citizens are entitled to jobs not the illegal immigrants. I intend on staying ahead of the Obama Administration just in case they decide to pass any kind of amnesty program in the near future.
