Attention All Penrith Ice Rink Users All cars must be parked in a marked parking spaces only. NO Exceptions. You are not allowed to park outside garage, in the side driveway, under the covered area or in the entrance and exit driveways. This issue was raised recently as a matter of safety by ambulance officers attending the ice rink and cars had these areas blocked with the ambulance unable to have a clear access to the rink and their vehicle. It also caused issues with other cars trying to drive through the car park with two ambulances in the driveway and these illegally parked cars were blocking access. We understand that sometimes the car park is full and you need to find parking on the street but you can always move your car into the car park once other patrons leave. Also, can you please make your members aware that there is to be no pucks, balls of any description, hit or kicked around the rink. On the weekend we had three pieces of glass broken and nobody let us know that it had been done. All balls and pucks will be confiscated permanently if used inside the rink. No skater is to play upstairs at anytime unless accompanied by a coach or team manager. Penrith Ice Palace management and staff have a duty of care to provide a safe environment for your groups to participate in their prospective sports, so I would ask your co operation in getting this message out to your members.
