Attention All ULV Child Development Majors: Child Development Program Developmental Knowledge Exam WHO? Child Development Majors who have completed Educ 350, Child Psychology and Development; or the equivalent, at a community college WHAT? Developmental Knowledge Exam (DKE) 36 multiple choice questions, 4 essay questions taken from the Study Guide (see page 2 of this flier) WHEN? Saturday, September 14th, 2013, 9:00 am-12:00 noon WHERE? Main Campus, Founder’s Hall, Room 206 WHY? The DKE is a required transition point in the Child Development Program, meaning that you must pass the DKE before moving on to advanced courses in the program. QUESTIONS? Please e-mail Lynn Stanton-Riggs, Chair, Child Development Program at [email protected] with questions. RSVP: You are REQUIRED to register for this exam, by e-mailing Lynn Stanton-Riggs at [email protected] that you will be taking the exam. If you are not registered, you will not be allowed to complete the exam . Please RSVP via e-mail to [email protected] by September 1st, 2013. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The DKE is given only in an online format. You will take the exam on Blackboard on a computer. You must bring your La Verne ID number to the exam, and know your Blackboard username and password. You may not use any notes or books for the exam, however a dictionary will be available for your use. An online study session will be available after September 1st to all who have registered for the exam.
