Attention Animal Lovers: The Packers arent playing Sunday afternoon and you need to get out of the house. Please consider attending Comedians for Critters, a benefit comedy show that starts at 2:45 p.m. at Shank Hall. I will be one of the emcees in a lineup featuring Skip Griparis (Bob Ueckers sidekick Monte from Major League) along with Chicago comedienne and pet rescue activist Elly Greenspahn, comedy magician Lynn Miner, WMSE personality Pete Christensen, Dobie Maxwell and special guests. Proceeds benefit a miraculous dog named Sadie, who was shot in the head and left for dead before being rescued and adopted by Joal Derse Dauer. Doors open at 2 p.m. Suggested donation is $10, but nobody will be turned away. The show is PG-13, but the club is 18-plus, so kids arent invited.
