Attention: Chattanooga area hikers A fellow hiker needs your help. While hiking this past Saturday (August 30th) on the first section of the Guild-Hardy Trail between Ochs Highway and Ruby Falls, my friend Leann was bitten by a dog. Unfortunately, she failed to get the owner’s contact information (the dog was on a leash.) The dog was a black and white short-haired pointer (or similar breed) and the owner was a white female in her mid-20’s with shoulder length brown hair. She was with another female with an orange-brown mixed breed dog. The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. My friend needs proof that the dog has indeed had its rabies vaccinations so she won’t have to receive treatment. If you know this person, or have an idea who it might be, please post below and I will forward to my friend.
