Attention Comedians in my FB network, I just got this email from The Wendy Williams Show: Hi, My name is Joe Colasanti, and I am an Associate Producer at The Wendy Williams Show (wendyshow). Hope all is well! I am looking for some amateur comedians who might be interested to take part in some tape packages we are doing for the show where we ask people about the latest in celebrity news (i.e. What do you think about the Miley Cyrus twerking scandal? What do you think about Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s latest problems?, etc). We are looking for fun people who will have witty responses. We then edit everyone’s responses together to create a funny tape piece that we will air on the show. I know you have a lot of great amateur talent at your club who participate in your open mics so I thought I would reach out. We are looking just for amateur comedians because this isn’t a paid thing and we also can not credit them as comedians, but it only takes about 10 minutes of their time and their responses will possibly be aired on our show.
