Attention Doctor Who fans: Stop telling people you are introducing to Doctor Who that the episode Blink is the best one to start with. I strongly disagree with this! I have now encountered 3 friends who some other person tried to tell them to start with that episode. Yes, it is a good episode. However, it doesnt have the Doctor much in it, and doesnt really give you a feel for how the show really is. I also feel it is a more enjoyable episode if you have already gotten to know the 10th Doctor. So anyone new to Doctor Who, if someone tells you to watch Blink first: Dont!
