Attention ELECTRICIANS: The wall outlet, whose cover had become increasingly loose, decided to spark blue and pop when I attempted to plug in the air cleaner (which may have been in the "on" position; I covered the outlet with duc tape. Just now, the hair dryer, after functioning normally for several minutes, popped a red spark and died. I turned it off, and lay it on the toilet seat. Do I unplug it, or leave it plugged in? These outlets are in separate rooms; the other is in the diningroom. And, what do I do next?
