Attention Edmontonians: I am sure by now you have heard about the devastating flood in Southern Alberta (Canmore, High River and Calgary region). My thoughts and prayers are with over 150,000 people that had to flee their homes and most of them have lost their homes. I am sure we all wonder how we can help. There are so many possible ways and media has shared them with the public. I just came back from donating blood and learned that Canadian Blood Services Clinics in Calgary and Lethbridge and also all their mobile locations have been closed due to the flood. Canadian Blood Services is hoping that the rest of Alberta will arise and compensate for the blood that they are not able to collect in the effected regions. This would be a great help to those regions. Please consider giving blood if you are eligible and share the words with others.
