Attention Fall 2014! Here is an opportunity for you to start your Yucatecan adventures in a big way by swimming with whale sharks of the island of Holbox. Our best friend of the program, Erick Diaz Rosado, works with an organization called Integrate. Integrates mission is to bring together local university students and international students who are studying here. Integrate is offering a weekend trip to the island of Holbox Aug 30 and 31. Holbox is difficult to get to using public transportation nor is it a planned program excursion. Add in the fact that the whale shark season ends in September and you see why this could be a great opportunity to start your independent travel adventures the first week of the semester here in Merida. Please check your email for more information about costs, what is included, travel time.
