Attention Fellows and Alumni! A teams of 2012-2013 Humphrey Fellows Anush Hovakimyan (Azerbaijan, MIT), Zubaydullo Karimov (Tajikistan, Tulane), Kareem Awadallah (Egypt, ASU) and Ilona Bicevska (Latvia, ASU) have made it to the final round of the State Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund. Inspired by their Humphrey year experience, the team has created a young media talent scouting and teaching initiative called “Young Media Sharks”. The idea is to give necessary input and knowledge for student before university (aged 16- 18) who have talent media as their passion. It will be a generational collaboration between experienced professionals and young students with enthusiasm, interest in technology and a hunger for guidance. “Young Media Sharks” is designed as international team with professional, passionate, social responsible people, who can be inspirational role models and good teachers for teenagers.
