Attention Gr11 and Gr12 parents (and learners) See below about a helpful event next week, created just for you. Dear Parents, The year at school thus far has been jam packed with activities and opportunities for our children to grow in all aspects of their development. We hope they have grasped these opportunities and learned some important life skills along the way. As we approach the last quarter of the year we need to direct our childrens focus toward their academics and prepare them for the final exams. This is often a stressful time for both the learners and their households. To help us set the right tone in the household and reduce our learners anxieties about the exams and, in the case of the Matrics, future life choices, we invite you to attend a presentation by Paul Longe. Paul is a counselling psychologist who is skilled in guiding teenagers and their parents through the challenges ahead. You will find more information about him on his website paullongepsychology.co.za The presentation will take place on Wednesday 17 September at 5.30pm and should be approximately one hour long, however, please allow some extra time as there will be an opportunity for questions after his presentation. Attendance is free of charge, but you do need to book your seat! If you plan to attend the presentation please complete the reply slip (letter will be sent home on Monday). A suitable venue will be announced once we have an indication of numbers. Please note that this invitation includes our learners and we would love to see as many grade 11 and 12 learners attend for their own benefit.
