Attention! How fair would it be for a judge in the court of law to pass judgement against you based on 20th hand information, that has been added too and taken away from in the grapevine? Imagine if you were accused of a crime and youre not allowed to testify on your own behalf, call for witnesses, or present ALL of the facts, and yet that judge decides hes got enough evidence to make his assessment of you?? Even sinful men have declared that you should be innocent until proven guilty. But some Spirit filled people decide that you are guilty til proven innocent. Every gossiper and critic is that judge! If Jesus ate with harlots and sinners. He was unfairly called a winebibber and glutton by.... Get ready, ... One God, religious believers... Everytime we disfellowship, reject, or walk away from other believers based on 20th hand info, cut and pasted, and choose to believe that what they heard about that person is true (whether it is or not) we have declared ourselves to be GOD and worthy to judge. In fact, lets say the rumor is true, the good news is that person may not be that same person anymore! Dont let people force you to make a judgement. Dont let anyone force you to say anything against, what you dont want too. How do we stop judging? You have to force yourself not to think, sometimes. You have to think, not to think! Yes, KNOW them BY their FRUIT, not someone elses words or thoughts. The grace of God allows you to NOT have to believe rumors, or gossip about someones past they may even be true, but may not be them anymore. Love them for who they are NOW! Somebody say, AMEN!
