Attention Mass. Farmers! Buyer Tradeshow/Networking Session & Food Safety Panel - Free to Massachusetts farmers! Located at College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA - A Buyer Tradeshow and Networking Session for Massachusetts farmers in conjunction with the third Massachusetts Farm to Cafeteria Conference. Growers will have an opportunity to speak one-to-one with buyers interested in finding local wholesale producers. In addition to invited produce distributors, farmers will also have the time to directly network with 300+ conference attendees, including buyers from institutions in their region during our Regional Networking Sessions. Growers are also invited to a morning workshop about the most up-to-date On-Farm Food Safety Practices and Food Safety Certifications as it relates to institutional sales. Panel Speakers: Amanda Kinchla, UMass Extension, Food Science Department, Michael Botelho, MA Department of Agricultural Resources, Commonwealth Quality Program (CQP).
