Attention PHP developers. If you even contemplate leaving an ini_set() inside of code that you distribute to your customers, I will find your development machine, develop a rootkit that will make its own edits invisible (i.e., revert on attempts to copy, open with file editors, ftp, etc.), and set the rootkit to randomly insert ini_set(memory_limit, mt_rand(1, 524288) . K); in any PHP files that it finds. If you prepend an @ on any of your statements, I will cause the rootkit to prepend the @ to every single statement in all of your scripts.
