Attention PIES: A Mom writes: My son will be 7 the last day this month. We are in out second year of Kindergarden and he is still struggling. He is ADD, hyper focuses, with some sensoring problems. His pediatrician (is an amazing Dr) had him on a few meds that allows him to pay attention but not zombie him out. Im at a point with a very small school system (where I went and thought it was a good decision) they are saying hold him back once again and just kind of push him to the side. We have out him in Sylvan Learning Center for some extra help. Its begging to work but not at the pace the school wants to see. We cant afford private schooling. And it looks like homeschooling is my next option. I dont know if I have it in me to do that. I need either some advice and/or wisdom from some mothers going through what I am!!
