Attention Potomac River Anglers: The National Park Service has updated the meeting dates to discuss their proposal to increase and expand fees. HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park (C&O Canal) has added public meetings in Hancock, MD and Shepherdstown, W.Va. and rescheduled the meeting in Brunswick, MD to discuss the parks proposal to increase and expand entrance and other fees park-wide.The updated meeting schedule is as follows: January 27, 2015, at C&O Canal Park Headquarters, 1850 Dual Highway, Hagerstown, MD from 6:30-8:00 PM January 29, 2015, at Canal Place, 13 Canal St, 2nd floor, Cumberland, MD from 6:30-8:00 PM February 5, 2015, at Glen Echo Town Hall, 6106 Harvard Ave, Glen Echo, MD from 7:00-8:30 PM February 9, 2015, at Hancock Town Hall, 126 West High Street, Hancock, MD from 6:30-8:00 PM February 11, 2015, at Byrd Center for Legislative Studies at Shepherd University, 213 North King Street, Shepherdstown, WV, from 6:30-8:00 PM February 17, 2015, at Brunswick City Park Building at 655 East Potomac Street Brunswick, Maryland from 6:30-8:00PM. C&O Canal has prepared frequently asked questions to assist in answering questions regarding the proposal.
