Attention: So I have finally decided to take action on the issue of kids having very little to do in our area as far as positive free recreation goes. Some friends and I have decided to develope SCORE. Sea Cliff Outdoor recreation events. The premise of this group will be to promote free, exciting recreation events for kids in our area up to age 21(if you are over 21 and still want something to do you can help supervise). When opened the page will serve as a platform for events such as sports tournaments, fishing derbys or bike/kayak/canoe/running races. It will also be a place to schedule more relaxed community events such as bike rides with neighborhood kids, pick up sports and other POSITIVE recreation activities for our youth.I will take it upon myself to organize a few of these events when I arrive home from college to get it off the ground, but I hope that this will become a community wide thing and people will start to organize on their own. The idea is still young and developing so feel free to give me some advice,the SCORE Facebook page will be coming soon.TELL EVERYBODY YOU KNOW TO GET THIS IDEA FLOWING.
