Attention South Philadelphia High School Class of 1969: Just happened to look at something on The SPHS class of 1969 FB page. Based on the count by FB we have only 91 of our classmates on this FB page . We were a graduating class of over 900????? Werent we? Call a fellow classmate, email a fellow classmate, ask a fellow classmate if they know of 1, 2 or 3 classmates and have them get their name on the SPHS Class of 69 FB page. Maybe their parents still live at the same address... Go knock on their door or look up their number by the familys last name on whitepages. Thats how I located a couple of my classmates..... You can find almost anyone over the internet today!!! Correct? Thats only way you are going to get a reunion together - whether it is for the Class of 69, or joining the Class of 70 or any other graduating class - is to network! Try and remember who you sat next to in Ms. Cohens English Class? (I sat next to Tony Sacca) Who was your lab partner in Mr. Rappaports Biologys class? Who did you sit next to in Mr. DeRosas History Class, Mr. Allensandrinis Italian Class. What about Mr. Reeds Chemistry class? Ms. Dianos Geometry Class? What about a classmate in Mr Kerto, Ms. Caruthers (sp?), Mr Beaumont classes...Mr. Beaumont Class I sat next to Karlan Kretchmar..... Heres an easy one - before they eliminated our lunch period - who did you have lunch with? Who did you sneak out and cut class to go to the Dugout or Melrose for lunch? Maybe it is someone you havent seen or heard from in years..... Come on people - get out your year books and see who you can look up on FaceBook. Maybe in couple of months we can have 300-400 members on The SPHS Class of 69 FB page. Only then we will be adding additional names and raising the number of SPHS Class of 69 classmates on this FB page.. Thats when we will finally have a reunion !!!!!!! Heres one - Ive been trying to find Margaret Bontempo, Johanna Papagno ( I hear she lives near Williamstown, NJ). You can certainly do the same....Right??
