CHECK IT OUT MOTO EXPO BRISBANE THIS WEEKEND Dedicated readers of TRAIL ZONE will know our current long-term Project Bike fleet includes a Yamaha WR250R that Lance Turnley has been setting up to make into a serious mile-munching mighty midget ADV machine. Now, Russ has clearly sunk his teeth into this project, and has taken the WR-R to the Nth degree and turned it into what he calls a Tenere 250R ... say what? Check out the photo Russ just sent us which shows the WR-R decked out with a custom fairing from Aussie-brand Safari Tanks, which has been mated with Safaris large capacity fuel tank for the bike. The set-up will give the WR-R a big boost in fuel range, not to mention a big boost in rider comfort with the added protection from the weather thanks to the fairing. It might just be the ideal set-up for WR-R riders looking to explore the adventure highway. Nice work, Russ, and nice work Safari Tanks.
