Attention WHHS families: Tomorrow, WHHS freshmen will be taking the ReadiStep assessment, and sophomores and juniors will be taking the PSATs. It is a full school day for freshmen, sophomores and juniors. It is a partial day for seniors, who should arrive at 10:30 a.m. All students are expected to attend. Classes will be on a modified schedule after the tests end. The ReadiStep assessment is a valuable tool, even if your child does not plan on attending college. ReadiStep measures skills students need to be on track for success as they transition to high school. It provides educators insight into students’ academic progress as they make informed decisions in the classroom. For sophomores and juniors taking the PSATs, this is a great opportunity for students to prepare for the SATs. Juniors could be eligible to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship based on junior year PSAT scores. PSAT results are not officially reported to colleges unless colleges specifically request them senior year.
