Attention Xtreme Faith members this is from Larry Fleming a member from our church. As you may know Larry is married to a native Philippina lady which has family in the Philippines that has been affected by this typhoon disaster. Some of the family members are missing and those who are still alive need food water clothes and all kinds of other items..so were asking Xtreme Faith to please be sensitive with this situation and pray about what God can help to provide through our members for our brothers and sisters. HERES WHAT HE HAS TOLD ME: We are sending a package tomorrow. it has food, clothing, shoes and water purification stuff. its a good assortment. about 250 pounds of stuff. the hard part is swallowing the shipping costs. (about 3 $ per pound). plus we have spent about $450 bucks on the supplies we have bought in addition to the supplies donated. so the $600 donated so far goes toward the shipping cost and that has been a real blessing. If we can gather more donations through church to send out another box next week, that would be a blessing, but, i can not afford to ship everything that might be donated. So, we are asking if stuff is donated, to also find help with some shipping costs.really, anything, food clothing or camping supplies would be so appreciated by so many homeless.
