Attention all WGG Friends and Families.. Its that time again for the Barker Carnival. The Carnival is October 25th from 12 noon to 5 pm. There will be games, food and most of all FUN.. Not only do we need to attend but we also need to participate. On behalf of the students, staff and families of Barker Elementary in Garden Grove, California, I am writing to request your generous support for our annual auction to be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014. We anticipate over 400 people to attend. Your donation of any goods, services or direct financial support will greatly benefit the students of Barker by raising money to provide enriching programs and updated equipment. Barker Elementary has been committed to providing the children with an educational program which promotes academic, social and physical achievement while meeting the unique needs of each student. Although we are a public school, we are not entitled to many of the states limited funds based on our demographics; therefore, the auction is a critical source of funds for our school. We realize that you receive many requests for donations and in exchange for your consideration and generosity, we will gladly acknowledge and promote your business in our Auction Booklet and in the promotional material we prepare prior to the event. In appreciation for your kindness, we strongly encourage our families to patronize those businesses that were a able to help. Please read the flyer below it your able to help.
