Attention all those with a mind for patterns and or sewing. I am looking to make a 5 point star on a 5 inch square as a tree topper on a.quilt. The angles are killing me though, I do not know of I am skilled enough to do it with out guidance. I think I figured out the top point is 2.5 inches across (in the middle), the left and right points are 2 inches down (the upper points) and the bottom two points are .5 inches from the corners. My problem is how to cut the fabric to make it... I could I just use ribbons and straight lines, but I dont think that would be as pretty. Any ideas?
