Attention citizens of Facebook: You guys are awesome. Since I posted my job news earlier today, theres been a great outpouring of help. Friends and friends of friends have been very gracious in passing along leads and accepting resumes. I would like to think youre doing this because Ive entertained you in some fashion for a few years and youve been waiting for an opportunity to show your appreciation, but I know its really because there are decent people out there willing to help when possible. The benefit of having 750+ friends is that there are always some there in a time of need. Thanks for being those people. I dont know what the future holds, so Im keeping my options open and trusting that the right thing will come my way. Its all about who you know, so I will always appreciate you introducing me to the people in your lives you think can make a difference in mine. Thank you for your continued help. If only half of the leads I receive pan out, I will have too many jobs. Thats a good problem to have. Thanks again, and I look forward to getting back to posts about kids, humor, snark and innuendo.
