Abram Regional Health Center (Kingfield) seeks an independently licensed clinical social worker to join the medical team. The LCSW will provide consultation services to patients and primary care providers concerning behavioral health changes that impact patient health status. In addition, the LCSW will serve as a liaison with community partners. Practice Profile: At Mt. Abram Regional Health Center, family nurse practitioners, Sharon Munro and Christie King serve 1,500 residents and travelers from Carrabasset Valley, Coplin and Dallas Plantations, Eustis, Kingfield, New Portland, and Stratton, as well as other locations in and outside of Maine. Patients represent the full scope of family practice with the exception of obstetrical care. Our providers emphasize prevention of illness, maintenance of good health, and health education. Health center services include care of chronic and acute illnesses, physicals, laboratory services and community resource referrals. We accept commercial insurance, MaineCare (Medicaid) and Medicare. In addition, through an ongoing grant from the federal Bureau of Primary Health Care, we offer Affordable Care services to patients who meet income guidelines and assist with applications for prescription assistance programs and linkage to community services.
