Attention non-nerds: Facebook messenger is not any more of a privacy concern than the regular Facebook app. All the permission it asks for are for features it has. Without permission means that the OS itself doesnt need to ask you every single time you open the camera within Messenger. Im not a fb messenger advocate. Do whatever you want. But this privacy thing is being blown way out of proportion.
