Attention shoppers, a new grocer is joining the area’s crowded market scene, and you probably don’t know much about them. Haggen Food & Pharmacy – which operates exclusively in the Pacific Northwest – this week announced plans to acquire Albertsons and Safeway stores in Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and California.
