Attention you phone techie peeps.... East Coast Weather Watch has now formed a channel on Zello the Walkie Talkie App. You may be familiar with apps like this such as Voxer already, however Zello takes you a step further in its quality and access to large user groups. This app is available on the android and apple products. Just go to either the Apple Store or Google Play Store and download this free app. Once you start the Zello app, you will need to make a user ID and password for yourself. Once you are done here, go to the "Channels" tab and do a search for East Coast Weather Watch. Once you find our channel, you will want to click add to make this one of your available channels. Chris and myself will be notified of a new user requesting access in which we will give you access on our end. We will then attempt to contact you to confirm your response. If we do not get a response after 2 attempts, we will delete your user ID. We want to keep this professional and useful to all our users. We plan on using this as an alerting system to all who participate. That goes for you the user as well. We want to hear from you with impending weather situations that you feel need to be broadcast. Sound good??? Please feel free to ask any questions on here if you have issues with getting setup. ALSO: Because we will be doing this broadcast on Zello, does not mean we will stop posting on here.
