Attn CAT PEOPLE: I am at my wits end... I have 3 cats, when we lived at our townhouse our youngest cat peed and pooped on us while we slept and on every soft surface he could get on (including rugs, couches, chairs, beds) Knowing we couldnt like that any more, we chose to have the cats live in our basement when we moved. We let them up at times to play upstairs with us and we interact down in the basement with them. While the cat no longer pees or poops on the couch or rugs in the basement, he has caused a huge problem in the litter room (our oil room devoted completely to cat boxes on rubber mats). Now he and the other cats are peeing all over the floor in the room the 6 litter boxes are in and also pooping outside of them. I recently added the rubber mats because the concrete floor was being bleached every week. I do not know how long I can put up with this. I love them but this is just to much.
