Attn: East Town Association employees and businesses, DPW will be resurfacing North Jefferson Street from the south side of the intersection on East Wells Street to the north side of East Clybourn Street. No work will take place in the intersections of North Jefferson Street at East Mason Street, East Wisconsin Avenue and East Michigan Street. This work is scheduled to begin on Friday, August 22 and will be completed on Saturday, August 23, weather permitting. The project will be done one half at a time and there will be one traffic lane open at all the times. When the contractor is working on the east side of North Jefferson Street, traffic will be allowed one way in the southbound direction on the west side of North Jefferson Street. When the contractor is working on the west side of North Jefferson Street, traffic will be allowed one way in the northbound direction on the east side of North Jefferson Street. Parking will not be permitted within the construction limits and access to parking structures and surface parking lots will be maintained at all times.
