Attn : Noakes clan Thank you all so much for your thoughts and kind words today. Dad/Grandad was a much loved person for very good reason, and while we are relieved that his suffering is over, we will miss him. We are planning his funeral for next Wednesday, here in Busselton. Full details will be in this Saturdays West Australian, however if there are any changes to the day I will post an update. A number of you have asked whether you can help us with the food for the wake; as with all Noakes gatherings, we would love you to celebrate your grandfathers life by bringing something that you think you and he would have enjoyed together. (And at this point I am seeing a lot of chocolate being consumed on Wednesday!) Please dress appropriately for the funeral (suits are optional), however if you have a Noakes Thing t-shirt, we would love to see you wearing it at the wake. I have ordered some additional shirts which will be available for purchase on the day. Granny is coping really well, and is very appreciative of all the messages of love and support which we have received. Looking forward to catching up with you all next Wednesday, when we will see Bunny out in style.
