Attn Yellowknife friends - as some of you are aware I work with a lot of men who suffer from homelessness. Many of these men are capable of working and look hard to find work but are then faced with a dilemna: where can they find the appropriate clothing for work? These guys need steel toed boots/shoes and coveralls. Most people do not donate old boots or coveralls to the Thrift store because they are stained - please if you have them bring them to The Salvation Army Resource Centre! We will get them out to the men who are working hard and need a bit of help before the first pay check comes in!
