Attn promoters: I will volunteer to work your event for free under one circumstance and one circumstance only.. if it is an event where 100 percent of funds raised by your event are going a legitimate good cause/charity. And no, being a tight fisted penny pincher does not count as a charity or good cause. Also there must be concrete proof shown to me that your event is truly non profit. I am not taking you at face value. Also depending on how far the event is, I also require travel and room expenses. I know I sound like a prick but I dont care to be honest. I had someone just spend 20 minutes trying to talk down my work and try to talk me in to working for free. Fact is, YES you can get a commentator for free, however it doesnt mean you are getting a good one. There is an old saying, you get what you pay for. It applies here. I am damn good at what I do and refuse to sell my talents short.
