Attorney Kathy Fazli thrives on the most challenging cases and her recent efforts resulted in having a felony with a minimum of 2 years in prison reduced to a misdemeanor (NOT a charged affected by prop. 47) and after months of fighting for the client: Only 1 year of informal probation (Standard is 3 years), no fines, and 5 days community labor in lieu of jail! Thereafter, counsel assisted, Pro Bono, a young defendant avoid time in jail, by recalling an active warrant and reinstating probation. Clearing the warrant helped the client secure the job that had been on hold due to the warrant.
