Attorney friends, has anyone tried to annul a gay marriage in Oklahoma since the Bishop-Baldwin case ruled that Oklahomas gay marriage ban violates individual liberties under the Equal Protection Clause of the U.S. Constitution? I am afraid my case will be in the pipeline for a year or more, causing me to have to keep appealing it up, till the Supreme Court rules. My client doesnt have a jillion bucks to keep it on track. John Parris Diane Hammons Deanna Wales Dana Jim? I have found coupla solutions: Go to Guam. Go to Dominican Republic, sorta. Those jurisdictions have either lax or no residency requirements. Why isnt there an interstitial federal divorce court somewhere? What about federal court? Cherokee court-- no divorce code... Cherokees, pass a divorce code, so your citizens are not in limbo.
