Attributes of Allaah: Ar # Rahman♡ This quality is derived from the root word Rahma, which means mercy. When rahma is linked to human beings, it means tender heart. But when it is attributed to Allaah, it means a special form of mercy, one which no human being can have. It is the mercy which Allaah bestows upon mankind, believer or not. As we see today around us, many of the kuffar have it all. They have everything. Wralth, fame, you name it. But they dont have emaan.. Although they dont have emaan, Allaahs mercy extends to such an extent that He blesses them and has mercy on them in such a way. So that they have a chance to seek redemption. However many of them go on heedless. SubhanAllaah this is the mercy of Allaah towards a disbeliever. Now imagine how far Allaahsercy extends to he who believes, he who who prostrates to Him everyday, he who fasts during Ramadan, he who prays during the long nights, he who spends in Allaahs path, he who repents to Him, he who calls upon Him, he who knows that he needs Him, he who lives for Him and he who dies for Him. SubhanAllaah, Allaah takes care of those who disbelieve because He is full of kindness, therefore His kindness towards those who believe is even greater. It is by His rahma that we may enter Jannah, it is by His rahma that we are alive and well today, it is by His rahma that He doesnt take us in to account for our sins immediately, it is by His rahma that He nurtures us and provides for us and loves us. It is His mercy which keeps us going. It is His unconditional, infinite rahma. As Rasoolullah SalAllahu alayhi wa Sallam said: Allah created one hundred mercies, then He put one of them among His creatures by which they love one another, and Allah has the other ninety-nine. - Bukhari. SubhanAllaah if what we see among ourselves today, a mothers love for her child, the way she fights to protect it, strives to put food on the table for it, stays awake at nights to take care of it during its bad health, subhanAllaah then how great must the mercy of Allaah be! Call upon Him by His grace and mercy and surely He will favour you. Our Lord, we believe, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, for you are the best of the merciful! Ameen Ya Arhamar Raahimeen!
