Au Pair in USA for 12 months. Are you female 18yrs -26yrs and have a love for children, and would love to travel and study while doing what you love? Then why not live in America for 12 months (with an option of extending for a further 6 months or 12 months) as an Au Pair? Of course you know what it is to be an au pair! But living as a EurAupair au pair in the USA is very different, and much more rewarding. As a EurAupair au pair, you live as a member of an American host family, sharing in the joys of family living. In exchange for up to 45 hours of child care assistance that you will provide for your host familys children each week, youll have your own furnished private bedroom and receive weekly pocket money. Youll have two weeks of vacation during the year, one entire weekend off per month, and at least one and a half continuous days free each week. Youll have time to spend as you choose, and the opportunity to learn about new subjects in American classes. WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS? - You need to be at least 18yrs old and not have had your 27th birthday on departure - You need to have an available departure window of 6 months - You need a South-African passport or a 10 year SA residence permit - You need to enjoy working with children and have some child-care experience - You need to have a Matric Certificate (you can apply while in grade 12) - You need to have your driving license (you can apply while you are still learning to drive) - You have to be a non-smoker and have a clean bill of health - You need to have NO children of your own.
