Aubreys World Race Tonight is my daughter Aubreys World Race fundraiser at Mangos, the great restaurant where she works, anytime between 6pm and midnight. Ill be there, will you? My heart is swelling with pride and joy for her, for the holy ambition involved in pursuing something like this. As for Mangos, Aubrey and I both enjoy spending time there even when shes not on the clock. Sunday night we had a date there and talked about heartfelt things that are too much for facebook. When I asked her how she wants God to change her through World Race, her answer was well-defined and articulate, something about a big God, which impressed me. But I will leave that for her to share in her own words. Without realizing it our converstion moved into into theology and philosophy, my two favorite subjects.
