Auckland Down Syndrome Association’s 9th annual Buddy Walk is on Sunday 23 March 2014, Tahaki Reserve, 250 Mt Eden Rd. Buddy Walk is an event that promotes acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. It is a 3.5 km walk in which anyone can participate without special training and will be followed by a Fun Fair and entertainment. It will include celebrities, field and stage entertainment, face painters, clowns, live music, food stalls, raffles, great prizes and much much more. There will be a BBQ, cake stall and merchandise for sale. Funds raised will enable Auckland Down Syndrome Association to keep supporting people with Down syndrome and their families.
